The BMA BARRA Tour receives a face lift for 2012 with the series welcoming a new naming sponsor (BMA) and streamlined to a four event tour.
It all gets underway at Peter Faust and Teemburra Dams (Northern Tour) on the full moon in late October, then heads south to Awoonga and Monduran (Southern Tour) two months later for the final two rounds of the series.
With a quiet tour in 2011 anglers will keen to slay the barra on the BMA BARRA Tour, so make sure you don’t miss out in.

2012 BMA BARRA Tour- Let's Go
|
The 2012 BARRA Tour receives a face lift for the new
tournament season with a new series naming sponsor, schedule and event format
set to revive this north Queensland
barra fishing institution.
It all gets underway at Peter Faust and Teemburra Dams (Northern
Tour) on the full moon in late October, then heads south to Awoonga and
Monduran (Southern Tour) two months later for the final two rounds of the BMA
BARRA Tour.
Who is BMA you ask? While their name might be new, their
products are well known and feature heavily in most barra anglers' lure
collection.
"BMA (Basser Millyard Australia)
has been supplying a range of Australia's
best barra lures to anglers for years, and I'm sure every barra angler has at
least a couple of our products (Killalure, Bomber, Classic, etc) in their
tackle box. This year we're (BMA) looking at getting anglers excited about
barra fishing the lakes again, and are very keen to be involved with the BARRA
Tour", explains BMA product manager Sam Baillie.

Megabass Japan Trade Show Trip- Gallery No.2
|
Here's the last of pics. In this selection we have some of the pics
of Yuki Ito and Matt Little (the trip winner) doing their presentation
thing on the Saturday afternoon at the show.
Also make sure you check out the Japanese kids getting into the action in the kids entertainment area at the retail section of the show.
It was great to see how they got the children and women into the
show. For me it shows a broader thinking than just blokes, beer, and
fishin'.
And that rocks!

Megabass Japan Trade Show Trip- Gallery No.1
|
The Megabass fueled trip to Japan for the 2012 Osaka Tackle Trade Show was everything that I imagined and more.
The show itself was mindblowing, the company on the trip was great,
the tackle stores, awe inspiring and the five hours or bass fishing that i
got to do was kick arse.
Anyway enough of the hype, here's the first selection of some of the pics that I took over the three days of the show. Click here for gallery.
There will be a full feature in the April issue of the Fishing
Monthly Magazines, along with a big feature in next year's ABT
Tournament Angler Guide.
In addition to these I'll have a handful of posts for anglingaddiction.com.
So enjoy the pics, I'll have some more in a couple of days.
Also if you ever get the chance to go to Japan, do it!
The place absolutely rocks!
